I am a new Harley owner. Just bought a 08 anniversary road king classic. It has a few upgrades mainly consisting of Willie g skulls all over it. I am going to de-skullafy it a bit if not completely. First is the gas gauge. Ithaca Willie g skull gauge on it that I think sticks out like a sore thumb. I am thinking of replacing it with the kuryakyn informer gauge. Now to my question. They list this as working up to an 07 road king. Is there a way to use it on my 08 and get correct results or am I sol and need to go a different route?

Is there a gauge that y'all would recommend over the informer? If so. Why?

 

I like the stock one. Works well and matches the classic look of the RK.
