Default Will Brown's Chrome Plating Match Stock HD Chrome?

When holding them side by side, do HD chrome pieces match those of aftermarket platers, such as Brwons, etc., or do they each have different tints of yellow, etc?
Thanks

Browns does have a tint to it;Harleys is brighter. But Browns is nicer. If this makes any sense.Browns is also deeper.

I had Browns plate my hand controls on my old Softail, while the switch housings were HD chrome.

I would tell people the difference, but I guess only I could tell.

I saved alot of money by having Browns chrome my factory stuff, over buying original HD.

Hope this wasnt too confusing.

Mark.

I had some parts on my bike plated and they aren't as bright. I've heard that HD doesn't use copper plating in the process. One thing I'd consider if you go with a local/custom plater is that you wont have to deal with is the HD P&A chrome peeling.

HD isn't the quality chrome that it used to be...

I've used Brown's Plating numerous times, have had no issues with their plating process. Brown's chrome is a "tad" deeper/darker than Harley chrome. HOWEVER .... you'll probably be the only one that notices it. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
