I got my new windscreen today for my glide, why does it have the hole in the center? If you mont the center down tight the outside holes don`t line up, if you line the outside up the center looks like this. Do you ever wonder why replacement stuff just does`nt work like you think it should?

I think it is not fully down. Loosen all three fasteners and face the front of the shield and pull down.

Nice looking shield. Call Klock Works and ask. They are the best at customer service.

Is their a rubber that slips onto the bottom of the shield. Maybe it is not slipped onto the shield and blocking it from going all the way on.

That's all I have.

I have that same shield you don't have it seated down all the way. Loosen all fasteners and move it down install center fastener first and work out.

Mine did the same thing. I found you had to get the side holes lined up, then shove the center down. Have the side screws part way in when you do that so the windshield does not slip down on the side. They are a bit of a pain to install but once in they fit and look good.

Reposition the windscreen, start the center screw first (don't tighten) then the sides. It's a little tricky the first time.

The center hole is slotted so get that set first. Then it will slide left and right to align the two end holes.
