Default Reusing Grips, Adhesive?

In the middle of doing some winter mods, bars, switch housings, etc. and am putting on some used ISO grips that I picked up. What is the preferred adhesive for the left grip? Is there some loctite or something that I likely have around the garage already? What is in the adhesive kit that comes from the dealer?
Thanks
PS: Setting records in MN today, going to be over 50, should be riding instead of working on it.

Make sure the bar and grip are free of any other adhesive and spray liberally with WD40. Quickly slide the grip on and place it in position and let it set for a short time.
I know, I know...it doesn't seem right but it works and works well.

Rubber Cement works pretty good, and if you need to switch grips , put on a pair of rough side out work gloves , and twist hard ,and it will come free.

I taped the handle bar with sports grip for golfers, then use hair spray on it and inside the grip. Slide on easy and dry like glue. I have palm rest on left side as well and it's not turning. Handgrip glue from dealer came undone after a good downpour.
