J&M 250 watt amp... is the power protection light supposed to blink?

Default J&M 250 watt amp... is the power protection light supposed to blink?
I bought a J&M 250 watt amp from a forum member, getting around to wiring it up now... when I key on the bike, the "Power Protection" light flashes green 10 times very fast... is this supposed to do this?
