I put on a HD center stand first. What a POS! Honestly!
The Wheel Dock Center Stand is wonderful and I am glad I have it also.
Once you use it you can see right off how it actually works, the HD unit? Pa-Leez.
Engineered not from a users standpoint.

As far as clearance and hitting anything? Not a chance with the Wheel-Dock. I have literally had my bike on its side (after a few too many) and it never touches

No clearance issues at all. I don't even notice it is there if I didn't install it myself. Easy to ride off from a stop without putting my feet down.
I can and have scraped the footboards, but never the center stand.
I keep my RG on the stand all of the time it is parked. In the garage as well as when I stop. I put it on the stand when filling at the gas station too.
I find that the only time I find any difficulty is when I try to use when wearing my Klingon Boots. lol

I have one (wheel dock), it has hit on a speed bump, but I have never dragged it in a turn. You can get more gas in with the bike verticle then when on the sidestand. You can also literally ride off of it, both feet up let out clutch and ride off. On mine when the tire wore down, it isn't easy to get it off the stand as the tire will spin instead of riding off of stand, then you rock it off the stand.

I never hit mine on speed bumps or on turns.......maybe on a raccoon once !
I took off the hex head bolt and chamfered out the hole and replaced it with a flat head bolt, that way it doesn't interfere when on the bike lift.
Real easy to put on the stand, then I just drive off. And of course never park using it on a soft surface or down hill. Also easier to load and unload bags, Love It !

OK I guess I'm the only one who didn't like it.

Yes I liked it and used it in the garage.
Yes I liked it when I cleaned the bike.

Now the downside:
The only two times I have ever laid my bike over was trying to put it on this stand, in the garage, sitting on the bike.

Don't ever use it parking uphill. (your rear tire will spin and just burn off rubber) (very embrassing at a bike night)

Don't ever use it parking downhill. (it will roll off the stand by itself)

Don't ever have it on the center stand while you are working on the bike, wiggleling the bike to install parts. If you push forward on the bike, it will roll off the stand. (like installing a Tour Pak or a seat, ext, ext)

I had one on my 07 EGC, and now I have one on my 10 RG, I love it, but I must admit if I were to buy another one I would check out the Rivco since it's adjustable. My rear end has been lowered so my rear wheel is always about 3/4" off the ground, which doesn't present any problem to me.
