Default Iphone and Ultra

Does anyone know if you can talk through you Iphone and HK radio system?
I have an Aria helmet and J&M elite headset. I am sure I could listen to music but can you activate the PTT and communicate via the phone?

I don't need to be questioned or condemed why just can it be done?

No, you can't. Remember you have to get audio to and from the phone. The HK is not made to do that. I've answered my iPhone while riding on my ultra, but I had a separate Bluetooth headset and mic in my helmet dedicated to the phone. That headset was made by Scala. That's the only way I know of doing it. Some use the iPhone as a GPS device and music device. They connect the phone to the Aux input and use it that way. You can actually "hear" when folks call you, but you can't talk to them without a method of getting your audio back to the phone. I used the iPhone this way for a while, but quickly found that the screen was just not very visible in direct sun.

Exactly what I did to use my droid. Works like a charm.

This is fantastic news. I was totally unaware of this product or that my Roadtech Zumo had an audio input jack. But I went out there and on the cradle under the same rubber flap as the audio output jack is another jack...which I assume is the audio input.

I am going to order one of these for sure. This is what I have been looking for and it will allow me to use my phone without messing with another headset! I especially like the idea of "hard-wired" transmit audio.

Thanks MntSnow
