The wireless controller is totally different than the wired one....it's a small box with 2 ***** on it just barely bigger than the 2 batteries that it holds

Same here...clipped on the jacket side strap and when I put my gloved hand down at my side I can feel the two *****. My power is zip tied to the rear guard and is easy to plug/unplug.

Here's another way. Use the Gerbing built in controller. As you can see in the picture mine is mounted just to the left of the ignition switch in the empty switch location. On an Ultra those switches are filled so you would need a spot on the inner fairing. The wiring exits under the seat on the left side of the frame, just plug in. Nothing to attach to your clothes, no velcro, no wires to scratch the paint.

3M dual lock velcro dots. The heat troller gets moved back and forth on two other scooters.
