Problem is the dealer is not willing to step up to what I think is a fair trade-in on the 2009 It has 16,000 miles, Fullsac pipes, SE tuner, SE breather, dyno tuned and new tires, and what I what consider new condition, it is orange/black what is it worth on the open market? Is the used market good for the 2009? What can I expect to sell it for?
On another note there are quite a few CVO bikes sold on www.cvoharley.com bringing top price. Check them out and maybe sell it outright. Good Luck....love my 09 also

I've looked at bothe the 2009 and the 2012, all the 09's were gone when I got my bike, and decided not to by a 12 because my bike is about 6mos from being paid and I just decided to keep it....anyway the only major differences (if you want to call it that) I could find besides the color are; the guages, sound system, seat, a/c and exhaust, and some other minor trimmings. Somebody posted that they handle different, I believe that would be because of slightly different shocks, since they both have the same frame. Also when I was looking at the 12 the dealer had an 09 in the store that they were asking 27k for, said they might let it OTD for 27k icluding tax and a few extras, but they were'nt willing to do too much dealing, and I know of one that sold in Oct for 26k from a private owner, had over 20k miles on it. I don't know what your dealer is offering, but don't let him rob you, sell it yourself or do a consignment if you have to, just shop around and check the prices.

Check www.chopperexchange.com for 2009 RG CVO, you will see they are holding value rather well.

I would keep that orange/black 09, thats the most bad *** cvo ever, which you would most likely get 28-29 thou for selling it privately. I think your nuts to trade it on a 2012, what are you gaining for the dollars?

With only 16,000 miles on the '09, it's just getting broken in. Ride the orange off of it and then get a new CVO.

No way I would trade that 09 for a 12. Sharp looking bike.
