Default Detachable Tour Pack Question.

Making an 8 hour round trip drive tomorrow to pick up the new king tour pack for my 06 Road King that I found on Craigs List and I wanted to ask a fitment question. I currently have a detachable backrest and a seperate detachable luggage rack set-up. Will a king tour pack that was set up for an 07 Electra Glide be compatible with my detachable points?

Congrats, my understanding is it will fit the 4 point dock, but will your bag openings clear? That's a big pack, just wondering. I have thought about getting something like that myself, leather covering it; more room than the Road King Tour Pack for my RKC on certain trips.

Thanks! I can't believe I found one that is already the same color as my bike, etc.. Gonna trailer the bike up and check to make sure everything checks out then take advantage of riding in some new territory. My girlfriend is going to be much more comfortable which means longer rides for us!

You will be good to go! The tour pak will use the same docking points as the luggage rack.

Thanks for the info Northwoodz! I have to brag a little about my find. 4 year harley king tour pack in excellent condition ( according to pics and seller) detachable hardware, color matched for my bike, leather wrap around back rest/pad with luggage rack. It's also the one that doesn't have any lights on the back of the pack, etc.. ( just on the sides at the bottom) Craigslist special price $ 500 ! And the seller held it for me until I could make the trip to pick it up.. wasn't going to risk shipping it.. I am stoked and can't wait to get it on my bike

..yup...as someone else said...that's a real sweet score!...you have about $1500 + worth of stuff for $500. Not to mention that it's a Harley factory paint job on it...Not too shabby!....

Detachable Tour Pack Question.-tour-pack.jpg

sorry for the upside down pic.. couldn't get it flipped. Extremely happy with my purchase. Snapped it on and rode around the gorgeous University Of Alabama all afternoon. The girlfriend is very happy and I am as well. Now time to put the passenger backrest and luggage rack on ebay. Thanks for the kind words everyone!
