My bike runs great, it will just die and you have no spark, Then it will re-start somtimes with in a few minutes, somtimes after a hour or so, Somtimes it dies after a few miles. somtimes a few min, It stopped doing this for allmost three yrs now its doing it again Harley never did figure it out, Anybody ever have this problem

 

I am guessing that it is a loose or a frayed wire somewhere on the bike. Just a guess though.

 

I would check the wiring in the kill switch up top. I had that happen on m y 06 fatboy

 

Ignition coils are known to behave like that when they get hot. If they are no good.

 

I think you should change injectors. The 2006 is the only year that has 8* injectors which cause some problems such as overheating, poping on decelleration, sneezing etc. If that is the problem, you should replace 8* injectors with 25* injectors, which are stock injectors on all other models. Talk to your dealer, it may be covered by warranty.
