i say go with MeanCity .. have them reshape it just the way you like it with some extra Memory Foam . i sent mine to be lowerd and narrowed but sprent a cpl extra bucks for memory foam added and its great very comfy . i have road 500 miles in a day no problems .

Mean city is way cheaper than buying another seat .

"Does this seat make my butt look big?"
Mine is a 2011. I'll try Mean City unless someone has had a bad experience with them. thanks for the help

I have a C&C Fastback and love it but I will say its pretty slim. It fits me great but I'm not sure how it will do with a big guy. I'm 5'10 215. I have a sundowner that I use when riding 2up and it is much wider. Its very comfortable especially with a backrest. I've got lots of long solo (+700 mile) days on both seats with no issues. The sundowner will push you forward a bit. The C&C will set you back a bit. I've had a seat done by meancity on another bike. It was very comfortable but the cover never seemed to look right after they cut out the foam to reshape it.

I was in or my *** was in serious pain when I first got this bike . At 80 riding miles I wanted to stop and get off due to the pain. At about 3 k on the bike the pain was manageable.....at 7 k the pain was gone. I think I have about 16-17 k now and I would never change this seat. I think it was my *** that needed break in to the seat. Not the other way around. I love the stock SG seat. Jmo
