True Duals OR Oil Cooler....if only one - which one?
I cancelled my order for the vance and hines dresser duals for my 2000 RKC because I got to thinking that maybe it is more important to spend the money on an oil cooler. Temp of 250 is about avg. but sometimes my temps get to 260 and even 270. (stock motor; SE A/C)
I am wanting the duals for the sound enhancement for my v and h turndown slip-ons but I have heard the duals will allow the engine to breathe better too....does this effectively lower oil temp? Or is it more important to get an oil cooler first to tackle that problem and wait on the duals until late in the season or next year?
WHICH WOULD YOU BUY?
BTW: After research of different kinds and not wanting to rely on a t-stat that could fail, I have decided to get the 6-row horizontal Jagg unit with the manual bypass valve when I am ready to buy. I live in MN and I think it may be a good option to bypass the cooler when cold.

I think it's worth a shot to try the xieds. I took my pc3 off and ran the xieds on my 07 and she was a champ. Those tfi units are odd to get right. If it's that hot, I'd be trying something else.
