Very nice garage! GREAT JOB! I also wonder about how the install of the floor went? Floating or glued down?

That is a great looking garage. The floor is great, but the entire room is top notch. Well done.

I need to do this. How much did it cost and did you need to make any preparation to your bare floor before installing. Mine looks like yours did before the upgrade--oil spots, etc.--and that'll be hard to clean up.

This looks great but I have a question. How well does your loaded jack move around on this type of floor and does it leave impressions.

you can order the flooring directly from SnapLock Industries.
they make Racedeck (higher end stuff holds 55000 rolling lbs, 15 yr warranty) GarageDeck (midgrade what i bought, holds 44000 rolling lbs, 12 yr warranty) and MotoFloor (lower grade, dont know much about it)

the GarageDeck ran me $2 a sqft, $1 a linear foot for front edging at garage door, and i got free shipping for being a GarageJournal.com member (just mention that and youll get the free shipping as well)

total cost was $936 for a 22x21 garage

no prep just lay it down, took me about 4 hours to lay the whole thing, thats with moving **** around and making all my cuts i had to.

i layed down some laminent flooring underlayment underneath it to quiet the floor down (some people say it makes a clak noise when you walk on it, although the areas i didnt lay the underlayment down i didnt notice that)
but the underlayment did make the floor a bit warmer.
