Default Push Rod Tube Leak

Just installed new cams and exhaust on my 08 Street Glide, did not remove heads, went with adjustable push rods. Used new o-rings and gaskets everywhere. Now I have a slight oil leak on rear exhaust push rod tube at the top, figured not a big deal and removed tube and put on another new o-ring. Still leaked so I tried to use some silicone gasket sealer around o-ring, did not fix it. I have inspeced all parts and look to be in perfect shape. Thinking about trying a thicker size o-ring. Anyone have problem like this that could tell me about a trick fix? Thanks in advance!

Check to see if the top of the tube is out of round or has any nick or ding in it. That might cause the o-ring to not seal correctly. Could be that tube top was formed slightly undersized. Might also want to be sure you have the correct size o-ring just to be sure. I've had parts guys pull the wrong ones because someone mixed them up in the bin.

Are you sure the old O ring is not still in the head?
