Default Radio/gps??

Has anyone tried installing one of those am/fm/gps radios with the slide out screen ? Wondering if the screen would hold steady while riding.

I have a gps I was just wondering if I could have it all in one instead of cluttering my handlebars.

I have seen a few pictures of set ups like you describe and from what I remember, the pop out screen covered a lot of the instruments.

I think I'd prefer seeing the warning lights and other gauges over not having a GPS somewhere on the bike.

Depending on what model bike you have, there are a number of options for mounting a GPS to the dash somewhere instead of on the handlebars.

I would think that the vibration and moisture it would see in use on a motorcycle would kill one of those slide out units. You can get a dash mount for the Zumo to keep it off the bars if you want.
