I would suggest going by local dealers/shops and look and let her try on a few. Could prevent having to send back along with sneaky fees. I found what I liked, size and style, looked online and saved a bundle. HJC is what I went with, some here say they make the HD helments for more $. Looks like 'em to me.

Just went through this with my wife. She discovered that HD has helmets for women. Seems weird to me as well. Long story short, after trying a few she would up with a helmet that in her words fits better than any before. She did end up with a full face modular, one with a flip down tinted shield inside. No more sunglasses for her and I don't listen to her bitch about my short windshield. Oh , and the helmet was less than $200.

Sometimes the Metric Dealers have a better selection of helmets for women. Also have her check out the Children sizes, sometimes they fit a woman's head better. There are multiple selections available. As long as its DOT approved you're good to go.

Fulmer V2 in Glitter pink!! That's what my wife has and loves it. It is also closer to the $100 range than the $200. Bryan

What ever you do take her with you and let her pick it out based on fit and comfort. It will at least buy you a couple of years before she decides to tell you she made the wrong choice. LOL No really helmets should be fit in person even if you buy somewhere else and womens helmets are the hardest to fit due to selection.
+1 on the metric shops and a bigger selection but HD dealers are getting better. Now all they need to do is stop thinking because they can get top dollor for their bikes they can mark everything else up at the same rate.

OP please post a pic of your wife's freshly shaved head. This is the only way that I can make a recommendation. TY

Your Lady should be on here asking for advice in person! If you have any bike shops in easy travel distance visit them together and look things over. Be warned, budgets mean absolutely nothing when it comes to fit and comfort. My wife and I visited a place with a trained fitter and ended up with top dollar helmets that fit better than I ever imagined was possible, with built in blue tooth. Life will never be the same!

My wife and I switched to the HD 3/4 fighter style helmets.

I really like them. Work great with the HD headsets.

$160 msrp and around $130 from online.
