Yeah, I've been saying this for years. Most of these shrines to the MoCo don't even feel like bike shops to me. I get the ******* just walkin into one. They look and feel like Vegas casinos. If you ain't wearing your gold Rolex, no need to enter.
Keep you eye on Orange County Harley here in SoCalif.; they've laid off half of their techs and bikes are not moving. I will not shed a tear for them when they do go as they're worthless. I live three miles away and will drive to Westminster or Fullerton for service and parts.
Ride Safe.
Motorcycle sales of all makes have slowed a lot.The days of Harley shortages and waiting list are gone. The 2 dealers here are both good IMO.So far they seem to be doing good.

Bluegrass seems pretty laid back, Loiusville Harley appeared to be more sale driven....if that makes sense....lol. Both places seemed pretty cool. I was in town for a busines trip and killed some time kicking tires and looking for t-shirts.
If these guys keep charging outrageous prices for parts, etc. there will be lots more closing up shop.
Down here in Raleigh Ray Price Harley wants $180 for a battery. Come on man! Same battery at Batteries Plus for $115. I understand if this is a unique HD part, but it's a frickin' battery...
The same person owns 4 dealerships within a 75 miles of me. I heard from a reliable source he will soon be closing 2 of them. The economy is much worse than most people realize and I believe the worst is yet to come.
