I thought that at first too, but if you blow the screen up to full size you see the KPH is on the inside of the speedo and reads over 300KPH. I had heard about some guy that got a ticket in Montana for doing 200 mph on his Hayabusa. I'm sure these guys eventually are splattered on the highway. You can only push your luck just so much and than your times up.

Neggy, I'm ZRXOA#7600

About 75 on the 883, about 130-140 on the kaw, about 168 on the HRC-RC30 on the banks of Daytona...but that was a while ago.

ive owned several FAST sportbikes.... and i maxed everyone of them out- quite a few times.

the fastest of them were:
98 CBR900RR
99 R1 (modded)
02 GSXR750

i recall the CBR being the most stable at high-speeds..... like 165+ 'high speeds'

Nah - the splatter is usually just off the highway!

Had a KZ1000Turbo when they first came out - cruise all day at well over 100. I was young, stupid and carried a badge....and very lucky! Now I have a Road Glide, so I'm still lucky!

I've gotten my RKC up to about 95 but have not really needed or wanted to go higher.

My Softtail was often above 110, but it was lighter and stronger.

I was cruising along at a good clip along highway 40 East out of Daytona going to Ocala one night and a crotch rocket went screaming past us (there were 5 of us) on the yellow line between us and oncoming traffic doing at least 120+. The space between us and the oncoming cars was a matter of 5 feet or so. It was the most insane thing I've ever seen in my life.

All you can do is watch them go by and then be careful of the wreckage ahead.

Oh, and a young soldier at Bragg once proved to the MPs there that a 'busa can get up to at least 200 if modified correctly. Crazy.

07 UC...it loves cruisin' at 85-90, gets into triple digits if you give it a little time...
On the other hand, my ZRX 1200 is in triples as soon as you blip the throttle.
Different equipment for different missions.
