Great Idea! Thanks for sharing. I have a old pic of me and my sis on my first 78 rm 80 somewhere. Going to have to see If I can find it. I'm afraid my sis hasn't held up quite as well but still healthy enough to get on the bike.

Great picture and yes your sister has held up a lot better than you (and me) did.
You can quit holding your stomach in and breath now too.
Are those your same sunglasses and watch too?

In about the same year as your photo, (1971 or 1972) when I was 10 or 11 yrs old, my dad took a photo of me on my mini bike. I had it blown up years back and keep it on my bedroom wall. I really miss the simplicity and innocence of being a kid with a bike.

That was some ingenuity. What prompted the taking of the pic? Were you thumbing through old picture albums? Thanks for sharing.

I hope that you'll spare us from a current picture of that.

Nope. The old shot was down in Scottsdale; the current one is up here in Prescott.

No, I had to run down to Walgreens to find a pair of $9 aviators for the new photo. And, that trusty old Timex bit the dust some years ago.

Thanks, 6 gun. Yep, already printed out a bunch of 8x10's for us.

I had posted the old one on my FB page and sis suggested that the next time she was up here visiting that we do a 40 year-later recreation of it. My 13 year-old niece did all the set-up/staging and took the pic.
