ECM or Tuner ???
I am in the process of getting parts for a 95' build with cams on my 00 FLTRI (yes a MM fuel injection unit). I don't want to convert to a carb. I haven't had any issues with the F.I. What I wanted advice on is what tuner to get. I have a Power Commander II with a canned map installed now. I've talked to different tuners and each has their own opinion. I've been doing my own research and still haven't made up my mind. It seems the Power Commander III is the most common tuner. I've also been looking at the self tuners like the Cobra, or SLM. I 'm installing head pipes which have O2 sensor bungs. But the one that interests me the most is a Harley replacement blank ECM part# 41000012A made by S&S. You can down load any map from S&S VFI Module Kit # 55-5006 . What I like about it also is that I can install one of their 52mm throttle body later. I've talked to Harley dealer service manager and got the info from him (they do dyno tuning) I also called the S&S tech line and the Rep vervied it. Does anyone have any experience with the S&S ECM ? Any feedback ?

powervision
powervision is what i just bought from fuel moto. They placed a map on it for me with my current set up. You can tune it or get a map. It does not stay on the bike like power commander. You should check into it, I am very happy with mine. It is made by dynojet.

Of course it will...I'm 95" Stage II ( from the factory - just their download, No PC,) running Andrews 26 Gear drives with no adjustments to the injection after 3 exhaust changes. ( Currently Supertrapp 2 into 1 equal length headers mated to a White Bros "E" Series muffler.)
12 years old with over 100,000 miles and still runs like a raped ape. Where MM injection can't cut it is when you flow the heads and get crazy ( over 10.5 to 1,) on the compression.
All you'll need is a remap. ( You've already got the S/E injectors in yours...)
