Default Hawg Wired Sound System

Has anyone tried their amp/speaker combination out? Seems like a good company but wonder how the product sounds on an '07?

I can't answer for the sound, but if thier electronics are as good as thier machine work and customer service on the install kits you can't go wrong.

Really great people to do business with

I have not tried hawg-wired---I have the other system with amp now---it does not put out enough sound. I will be selling it soon.

my plans are to get polk audio speakers (they are marine grade and will fit in the fairing) and put a small four channel amp (10 x 8 x 2) in one of the bags.

I have discussed this with a stereo shop here that was recommended by trusted guys at the stealership---they have done this to several bikes and have pictures of the installs. They have also mounted speakers inside the bags---I am contemplating this.

This will probably be 1/2 the cost of hawg wired for the same or more watts.

My brother's Ultra has an amp in each bag and 6 x 9 speakers in each bag, tweeter and mid range in the fairing with complete cross-over networks. he is pumping concert hall type sound you think why is it so loud then he starts the bike with the 95 and thunder headers and all I can say is just damn -- it does sound good.

I have changed out to Hawg-Wired speakers on my 07 Ultra. I did not add the amp. Plenty of sound. More low end (bass). I don't seem to need the amp. Even at Hwy speeds. I am glad I made the change. They are an easy plug and play install.
