flhtk brake wear

That's just gonna depend on how you ride at the end of the day - mine is 8000 in and no requirement to change is near yet. I generally ride it in open country where as my Yamaha does a lot of riding miles into London with constant filtering and this meant I'd done the back brake pads in les than 6000 miles.

I just replaced the rear tire on my 2011 Limited (20,000 miles) and while doing so I checked the rear pads. New ones are .150 thick (factory pads), mine were .135. So in 20k miles my pads are worn 10%. If they continue at that same rate I'll be rebuilding the engine before I replace the rear brake pads.
As for the fronts, mine appear to be approximately 30-40% worn (visually).
Assuming no mechanical issues, riding conditions and rider habits are the two most significant factors effecting brake pad life.
