Default Side mount plate on Road Glide

Got rid of the rear hoop or as i like to call it "grab bar" and moved my plate down below the bag since i installed a Fatcat (awsome sound by the way)

Im undecided if im diggin it or just excited to be ripping into the glide. Whats your opinion? ( dad hated it, brother loved it haha)

Needs a plate light on it. I would bolt a mud flap on the fender & bolt the plate to that to keep the profile of the bike even.
Everyone's different, I want that dirty big grinder!
Hatch.

It's a good start but, I would get the Street Glide turn signal bar. It's a similar look to your light bar but, mounts the plate below and incorporates a license plate light. Don't know about your state but up here in the frozen north, no plate light is like asking to be stopped. Besides, I agree about the "unbalanced" look.

I'd wire up one of these: http://www.radiantz.com/index1.html?search.html&1

It has a LED bar at the top, lights the plate very well. If you get it, replace the bolts with a slotted machine head, the ones they provide use a tiny allen wrench, pain in the ***.

did you make the mount or buy it? Looking at moving the plate on mine, that's one of the options I'm considering. Looks great with 2 into 1

thanks for the thoughts guys. still dont know what to think. Im aware of the street glide bar but im sure it isnt cheap plus everyone and their mother has that mount so was looking to keep it a little different. I have another mount thought up so might try that. thanks again

LOST i made it, it uses the exhaust hanger on that side. its kinda of heavy and needs alittle tweaking. i honestly think it looks better in person but still kind of stuck on what to think ha

it looks ok, but It also looks like a target for a hard leaning left turn

I agree, it crossed my mind. if it does end up being and issue im gonna build a mount thats hinged so it would just fold up or make one that tucks up more. just feelin the waters on it, wont be riding for awhile anyway
