Default Question for those of you with Wild One 577's

I was just wondering if any of you using Harley Grips experienced having a small gap on the clutch side where the housing meets up with the larger part of the bar. I have my grip pushed on as far as it will go and I have a gap about the thickness of a nickel. In other words where the smaller part of the bar ends and the larger part begins. Hope that makes sense, thanks.

I have the gap also...no problem. I guess you could cut 1/8-1/4 inch off the end of the bar if it really bothers you. I do understand how you feel...it's just a visual issue. It use to bother me but, now I don't really notice it and no one else does either.

I just installed a set of WO 575 on my 11 SG and I had the same issue. Had a gap on the left bar about the thickness of a nickle as you mentioned. I took the grip off and cut that much off the end of the bar. Pretty simple to do.

I have it on mine as well. Have pondered cutting the bar but haven't yet.

I got some WO577 bars for Christmas. I was planing on using the stock grips also. (2010 ELC) Any suggestions on different grips to use that would fill the gap?
