AIR HORNS - Poll

Had the stebel for about a year, then it crapped out on me. I decided to go with Rivco and very happy with it. It even looks loud!
I removed the cowbell for my stebel install and located the compressor next to the battery. When I replaced it with the Rivco, I just replaced the horn and kept the compressor next to the battery.

I've had the Rivco horns for five years and have had no problems with them. I replaced the hose lines this past summer when a split formed at the "Y" fitting and I decided it would be best to replace it with a Rivco repair kit rather than simply cut-off the split portion, a $20 expenditure (with shipping). That's pricey for 5' of hose, but this hose has a high-heat exterior surface, and since it runs near exhaust and engine surfaces I decided to go that route instead of using standard automotive hose in the interest of long-term service. The original hose looked like standard fare with a high-heat sheathing over it, while the new has the protective material integral with the hose, and I assume new horns come with the new type. Other than that the horns have served well and have ample volume. They may be priced in the upper tier among air horns, but I would buy them again.
