Default Can anyone recommend a good breathable rainsuit?

I need to replace my old rainsuit and don't want to make the same mistake twice. My old suit was not breathable and I would get as wet from sweating in it as riding in the rain without it. I'm not interested in Frog Toggs since I already had them once and returned them. I looked at the Harley rainsuits and just found one that said breathable selling for $160.00 on Surdyke.com. Can anyone make a recommendation? Thanks

No matter what they say, if you ride under 75, or higher temperature, you will sweat and soak from inside.
Most of the time, even in hot summer day, the rain will low the temperature down during the pour, so there is no problem there. I take mine off as soon as the rain is stop.
The one that I really like for the last 20 years is the two piece Tour Master rain suit. Easy to put on and take off, and I have ridden for many hours continuously under heavy rain without any water on my shirt and pants.

IMO, and I'm sure a few others here, HD has some of if not the best rain suits around. Anything Gortex is breathable...not much else is. Make sure you get one with a built in helmet friendly hood. Nothing worse then having water drip down your back off your helmet....

Ive been using these pants for a while and I never sweat in the rain in them. 100% water proof!

I'm looking for new raingear too. Anyone have a comment on the TourMaster 'Defender' rain jacket & pants? Thanx.

i keep my HD ones in my bags at all times. used them twice, once it stopped raining as soon as i got them on, but i wasnt too far and the weather turned colder so i left them on, the other time it POURED! between the rain gear and the soft lowers on my Rk i stayed 100% dry! money well spent, it was an hour ride home doing 65-70mph. learned long time ago never leave home with out them. East TN moutains are know for weather changes.
Frogg togg=CRAP! leaked at seams i got very wet in a heavy downpour.

i can't help you because i use the frog togs.
with frog togs you got to make sure you get the motorcycle spacific ones .
theydo make many styles
i got a set and they look nice fit well breath nice have reflective piping and i rode a few hours in fairly heavy rain and stayed dry.
