Anyone install a K&P Stainless Mesh Oil Filter?
I was looking at the Jagg coolers website and came across an oil filter they are promoting. It is made by K&P and is a stainless steel mesh with a magnet to trap metal particles for inspection. It is a filter that you clean and re-use.
They claim it has a more consistent filtering capability in terms of micron size particles it will trap, compared to a paper filter, and that it has less pressure drop across it as well. All sounds good in theory.
Is anyone using one of these?
Any comments good or bad?

Don't listen to all the "5 micron talk" from well meaning folks who have not (yet) learned how filters are rated for filtration (surprised me too). Watch the video.

Since posting this I have done soom looking on the internet and came across Pure Power Filters.
Same idea but looks like a much better engineered filter. Mind you it costs more.

I have them on both my bikes, work very well, look great, and I suppose it helps reduce oil temps (a little) I consider it a detail on dressing tho motor up and it works well.
as far as toilet paper being used for filters rolls Royce used that for years, and there was another company, cant think of their name, sold an add on filter system that used tp. it works. just don't squeeze the charmin' putting it in!!
