Lower & back as far as you can go with a backrest. Wouldn't switch it for anything!

Zjones...........don't know where you live.

I have had 5 corbins over the years. I live in CA.......so I can ride in to Corbins and they custome build the seat.(same price as catalog).......to sit you where you want. My S2 seat is 12 years old .........40k miles and still perfect.

I am "assuming" they do the same in FL..............If I get poor customer service, just move up the food chain............can't see them not fixing it.

My 2 cents.

I am looking hard at the C&C, but I'm not sure it will set me back far enough, if at all. I had such a bad customer service experience with Corbin this past summer that I never want to do business with them again. I'm open to hearing about any
others as well. Mustang is a winner with a lot of people, but I need a little room and most of the comments her suggest that the Mustang solo is comparable to the stock seating position.
I will probably have Mean City modify the stock seat, but I want a lower profile solo for most of the riding I do.
Weigh in with your experience here and you might want to include height and inseam as a way to compare preference - I'm 6'0 and 32" inseam and feeling a little cramped in the legroom department...
I have a 2 piece roadking i'd sell CHEAP. I used it in solo mode for a while until I got my C&C

No comparison between DG and Corning. Had em both. DG is flat out uncomfortable. Painful. Masochistic.

I have a 2011 RK. I have a Lepera Bare Bones solo I use when the wife isn't along and I am riding local. It looks cool, it's like rding on a cinder block. Plus, it has no raised back so every time I get on the throttle I have to hold on for dear life. I would not recommend to anybody.

I have the C&C "Forward" seat which sits you pretty close to stock. The regular solo seat is about 2" further back than the "forward". I only have about 800 miles on it so far and tho it's pretty stiff compared to stock it's actually quite comfortable. Furthest I've been was 200 miles round trip so I can't say how long rides are but I'm actually pretty pleased with it. And I highly recommend a backrest. I love that thing! Here's a couple of pics...please excuse the mess in the garage.
