I have an 09 RKC and just bought a used Tour-PakŪ Luggage - Road KingŪ Classic Leather Styling p/n 53147-98C with a rack that fits 96-08. I know I need the Detachable Two-Up Tour-PakŪ Mounting Rack p/n 53276-09A. My question is will the current holes in the Tour Pak and the holes for the correct rack for my 09 line up? If not, will it still work? Does it look bad/obvious? I just would like to know before I go by the rack.

 

Those old holes don't fit, but the metal support plate inside has two set of holes. One set for older rack and one set that fits to the new two up rack. You just have to drill through the plastic and leather.

The tourpak itself stays one inch or so behind where it used to be with the old rack. Nothing fatal though ;-) I had 2008 RKC with the Tourpak and now 2010 RKC with the that old Tourpak and new rack so I think the setup it's comparable.
