I put the red gauges in my 09 SG. They look nice but have not been trouble free. They have stopped auto dimming when it gets dark and one of the segments has gone out in the clock. I've got an RMA to return the tach for repair but it's on my dime as the warranty ran out a couple of months ago. Considering what they cost and the problems I've had with them I doubt I'd spend the money on them again.

That is the only way really to certify new odometer. Most reputable dealers will not certify
a true reading unless they change the the gauges with the old ones being accurate. Unfortunately with digital gauges, this is not how most are installed, imo.

Just to update my previous post in this thread.

I sent my tach back for repair, expecting to get a call telling me what it was going to cost to repair since it was out of warranty. A few days later I got a call telling me they received it and would be sending out a new replacement at no cost. All I can say is wow. I never expected great customer service like that. In my other post I said I probably wouldn't buy another set but with customer support and service like that Dakota Digital has changed my mind.

I'm on the fence on these as well. Nice, tidy package, but may end up going the HD Spun Aluminum route...

They are kinda cool, but I don't think Id ever spring that much cash for them. I like my Marty LED gauges better !!
