The discs are in the SuperTrapp SuperMeg muffler he put on.

Steve - Does that $1700 include the brand new pipe? If so, you are a bargain hunter. Nice work.
No, I'm not counting the Air Filter, PCIIIusb, or Exhaust.............I already had all those things before.

The Supertrapp cost me $525 delivered, I sold the Rineharts for $550 installed to my buddy's father-in-law......so that was pretty much a wash.

If you have to buy those 3 items, that is going to add about $1000 to the bill.

Better late than never.......I've been asleep! Your numbers are excellent and this build will give you reliable, stump-pulling power. Bike looks great with the Supertrapp. Money well spent!
Now that you've been bitten by the torque monster, you'll never be able to go back to stock. Next time you get a chance to ride a stock bike, take it. You'll appreciate your ride that much more.

Well done Steve!

I rode a buddy's stock RK about a month ago..............and it was so funny. I twist the throttle and NOTHING happened............LOL. He used to beat me all the time when we would race, not anymore. I beat him in a roll-on, I beat him in a straight drag race...........and I have 150 lbs extra weight compared to him and his bike.

Think of it like this Steve, If skinny people have any more fun riding than us FAT people, I couldn't stand it anyway.

As long as there's a beer joint every 4 miles in Louisiana, I'll never loose any weight. (You know that a state law in LA. Beer joint every 4 miles)

Coldest beer I EVER had was at Mama's in Natchitoches, LA. Spelling right? On the Cane River, next to Papa's Steak House. I LOVE Louisiana, especially Lafayette and Abbeville. Friendliest people on the Planet! Sorry for the off-topic, but to get on topic, my RG loves it too! And it can out pull the Budweiser Clydesdale team with that engine work!

The beer, Natchitoches, or the Clydesdales?

Now let's say I had a week of vacation time to burn.....................LOL, and I was bored and decided to do a little engine work............LOL.

What cam in my current build would be much better then the 26's?

Without changing anything about my build but the cam.................what is the best cam for it?

I would want a broad torque band from 2500-5000.........right in my normal riding range. I have that now, but I would like to get over 100/100 to make it worth it.

Now keep in mind that this is purely hypothetical...............LOL

Very well done "maine". Similar numbers to mine with basiclly the same build and cam. I didn't have my heads done but am leaning that way as a winter project. Talked to Bean and was taken aback by his honesty regarding head work. He said head work would always be an improvement but also said I was near the limit on my build and couldn't promise me much. Said he looks for Hp in the high 80's with the 26G cam and I'm at 84 right now. I'm probably going to give it a try. As already pointed out by another, the 26 G is a torque cam, not a HP cam. I know i'm tickled with my performance and the MPG jumped a good 4 or 5 MPG. Did you notice an increase in your MPG or are you still "busting" in to it?
