Default Do you enjoy highway or back roads slower pace?

I have found since owning my 2011 ultra, that I still prefer to stay off the busy fast pace of highways and interstates roads. Bike handles great but I prefer the 55 mph - 65 mph riding. It's more enjoyable. May take more time getting there but that's the point. Enjoy the ride, get off the interstates and see the backroads and small towns.

2 lanes- 65 mph or so ( y'know the wild west, wide open spaces)

The "Super Slabs" I'll use if I gotta be somewhere- and I try to plan my trips around not planning my trips.

I love the long, winding, lower speed, back country, foothills up and down the mountains type of riding - but - in order to get there it seems I gotta beat it down some dang highway doing 75-80 to keep from getting run over. I look forward to getting out of Jersey some day to exit this rat race!

My RK handles ALL of it no problemo! Great 2 up cruiser as well as 2 up la-ti-dahing around the twisties!!

I prefer the Country Roads except harvest season. Too many tractors hogging the roads and huge mud globs on the roadway. Then I stick to the highway.

I love the back roads but unfortunately here in south Florida I have to use the slab to get to most of the good ones.

Depends on the bike. My current steed....superslab is sweeeeet! Slow is ok too but man tourers are righteous on the freeway, especially with the 6 speed!

45 to 65mph is the most relaxing for me. Once I get over 70 it becomes work. Guess I'm getting old but it sure beats the alternative!
