I'm in California, so if it's not pouring buckets of water I am in the wind.

Good morning!

Rode in today, 26 degrees with frost, supposed to be going to 60 by afternoon. If this is the result of global warming, I am all for it.

I ride when I can...never winterize mine. I rode recently in the low thirties with flurries...I'm sure I've riden in colder. I agree with the caution about the black ice. Looking forward to spring. BTW...in Maryland its still in the 50s this week.

I'm in too. It does get cold here in the desert, especially at night. I've rode to work on graveyard shift in the past and seen 12 degree temps on the bank sign across the street. I also go for rides in the mountains north of me all through the winter, not unusual for me to see a foot of snow on the sides of the road when I go through Emory Pass! The wife thinks I'm crazy and won't go with me. She's Cuban and I guess her blood is just too thin!

Yep, count me in. Living in the Ozarks, but a little cold ain't no big thang.
My problem is mud. No garage, only a carport with attached workshop. But I have to take Annie through the yard to the back just to get her in and out!

We used to take ours out on the ice of a pond and screw around with huge 4-point slides and bike hockey and was all stupid stuff cause we never tested the ice for thickness! One day a big ol sound KERAAAACK! all over the pond and the damn cracks in the ice started chasing us around. Chinese fire drill as we all got to shore just in time. Dang[:-]
