I'm in...no winterizing for me, either. Like some others, no snow, ice or serious salt accumulation, and I just wanna ride.

Makes me feel like I'm gettin' my money's worth!

I may be South of the Mason Dixon line now but when I lived in NY, I rode as long as the snow wasn't on the road. 1hr 15min to and from work in 26 degree weather on my old Shovelhead. It took me an hour to thaw out after I got to work but the ride home was always warmer and worth it.
Aint got to worry bout that crap anymore though. And no more salt.

I try to get out at least once a month through out the winter. So far I have managed to do it ever year since I purchased my bike in 1998. I live in the Chicago area.

Any one else want to be a member? Only requirement is that you dont park your bike just because its winter. (you guys south of the Mason-Dixon line are not elegible)

Club motto: "If it aint snowing, were going!"

Yesterday morning, 26 degrees F indicated on garage thermometer. Rode to work. Roads clear, but there is still snow and ice on the lawns and ditches. I got a big scare when a sheet of ice blew off an 18-wheeler and about hit me. People ask me "aren't you cold" and I always reply "Nawww. Cold is only an opinion"

Tim
What do you mean we're not eligble! It's 14 degrees outside with a wind chill of 7! There's no snow but you never know when you round a corner if a leaking water main has iced over the road.

Count me in!!!! It was 24 F this morning on the way to work. I live 18 mi from GA and 18 mi from FL, lower right hand corner of Alabama. I was cold this morning. No big deal, people I work with think I am nuts!!!!! I have been riding everyday since November 17th, 2006. The bike is currently my only vehicle.
