Saw my old bike on the dealer's floor.
So I went to the dealership where i recently bought my 2012 RK, and what do i see... my old bike sitting on the showroom floor! I didnt expect to see it there so when i did I wanted to buy it back! Has that ever happen to any of y'all? I had a lot of fun with that bike.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I traded in an '09 RKC and saw it on the floor a few days later. It looked good and a guy that works there told me that they didn't detail it or anything, just dusted it off and parked it. Was back a week or so later and it was gone.
.......and yeah, I traded a RKC in on a Forty-Eight (trade-in was considerably more than cost of new scooter). Thing is I am an old guy with a bad shoulder and the RKC got to be too much for me at slow speed maneuvers. Not sorry about the trade, I ride more now but I miss the RKC.

Yeah man, it feels pretty bizarre. I traded in my 07 FatBoy for a '10 SESG and a few days later I'm at the dealership and there it is, ape hangers in all their glory even though they said that they needed to go. I miss that bike but never turning bak.

I went to pick something up for my bike and my old cross bones was sitting outside. Ends up the new owner was coming in to pick it up. Sure as ****, he walks in while I'm there. He actually asked about the bike and the salesman says, ask him it was his old bike. It was a sad day, told them that I wasn't suppose to see it again. It did work out though. When I saw it there, I grabbed my dikes and got my bell off the bike. Traded numbers with the guy and sold him some accs.

my first real running street legal bike was a honda 400 when i was 16yo. 3 years later i had a cb 750 cbr 1000 gl1000 and i was working on building my first harley, a 47 knucklehead. so i sold the bike to make room in my dads garage.. i saw the bike for sale a few years later,i got sentimental about it and thought about buying it back..when i looked at it up close, the thing was thrashed, rattlecan BBQ paint, broken cables, dead battery, ripped up seat, and all. and he wanted over twice what i sold it for

Saw my old RK at the dealer I traded it in at around a year later -- Lots of mods, but the paint was obvious.
Was *at* the dealer when someone was signing the papers on my Street Glide over a year ago. And now (again, lots of mods but an unmistakable blemish in the paint if you know where to look), it sits again on the showroom floor (evidently, the new owner traded it in again).
Had the same 'luck' (?) with old cars too. It's weird...

When I bought my present bike my previous bike was on the floor before I left, sold by the next week and then I saw it in Cycle Trader 2mos later advertised as an EGCU, not an EGC, and for a ridiculously high price. I like my RG much better and never looked back, I just wonder if it ever sold for anything near the price the guy was asking, if so, it had to be a true fool who knows nothing about bikes and had a whole lot of money to spend, lol.
