Default Was it just me?

My wife says I was crazy the way I acted when I got my Harley. It was my second bike but my first Harley. I think I sat in the garge til 2 in the morning after riding for 5 hours. I was crawling all over that thing. It's been 2 years now and I still have to smile when I walk by it in the garage. And I admit i still sit on it now and then in the winter. She doesn't get how we feel about our bikes, or the feeling we get when riding. So she just accepts that we are "crazy". Just curious if anyone else has someone at home that thinks you're "crazy". And if you have a funny story when you got your first harley.

If by crazy you mean staying up till way too late looking at parts online, reading more motorcycle magazines than kid rearing magazines than yes I am too.

Really. Boats are just holes in the water that you throw your money into.

Especially when you get two footidus!

Been there done that.

HA!! So glad I'm not alone. Like you this is my second bike but first Harley. I don't have a funny story when I picked it up, but the wife does think I'm nuts. LOL!! Although I got her on it twice now (She's deathly afraid of bikes). Much better to break her in on my RK than my old 750 Shadow I had. he he he

Default Define Crazy!

You'll have to define crazy for me. The wife wouldn't set foot in an airplane with me when I flew but was the driving force behind "our" Road King purchase!

I just like all things mechanical, anything with an internal combustion engine. Am I more proud of some of my toys than others?? I think a resounding "Hell Yes" is in order. My RG is at the top of the list, but I also have a street legal '98 Z28 (full weight) that runs mid 11's sitting in the garage while my '08 Chrysler 300C (easily worth twice as much) sits outside in the weather. I guess some may think my priorities are screwed up, but I just like some of my vehicles more than others.
