Default Ne Extended Saddlebags

Well bit the bullet this year and decided to go with extended bags. I went with Sinister Industries 4" extended bags. They are a great bag. I also went with Milwaukee Bagger rear fascia. Had to do some trimmimg on this to get it where I liked it. So off to the painter and will post when completed. Now the question will be do I go back to the stock fender.... I'm thinking it may, since the bags are now extended....

Nice combo, they look like high quality bags.

How bad is that seam on the back of the bag? Do you think it will show once the bags are bodyworked?

Went with Sinister fender and CycleSound lids. The quality is good. Cutting, drilling shimming takes a little time to get everything lined up.nothing square on the fender, matching the center line to cut the fender lights was a little bit of a pain.close enough to let the painter finish up the prep work.

Took the parts to the body shop today. The bags won't be an issue to prep up for paint. There will be no seams when he's done.

CycleDrider, I am thinking of going with that same setup. If you had to do it over would you still go with what you got? How much "adjusting" did you have to do to get things to fit right? I am anxious to see the final product.

Thanks Cycledrider,

Got everything back together last night, cutting in the lights, drilling all the holes, trimming the exhaust cut outs, lots of patience but nice feeling when it's done. Now I have to select paint scheme,
