Default air shock pressure

When my wife and I go riding, 220/180 My rear shocks bottom out sometimes when I hit a pothole or bump. What kind of air pressure should I be running?

At least 25 lbs. That is what I ride 2 up. Any Less and it hits bottom. Check it monthly. Mine goes back down to 10 lbs in 2-3 months.

Hey d , My wife and I go about 175/150 with 30lbs in the bags.
20-25 lbs works great , don't think we've ever bottomed.
Your Ultra is heavier than my standard , with the rear goodies on your bike.
You may want to try 30lbs or higher ,and work down if it seems harsh , but you should be close with 25.
Mick
