I am going to trailer my Roadglide Ultra down to Lake Havasu in feb. from up here in Canada and am looking for an enclosed single bike trailer to take instead of my 7X14 tandem.I am interested in something like the http://toycarrier.com/ but haven't been able to get a reply from my emails or phone calls. Are they still in business, does anyone have any info on these trailers?
Thanks Thistle

If you are trailer shopping, what ever you get I would suggest dual axles and trailer brakes.
I've seen so many cheap trailers break loose, flip, roll, drag etc. that I wouldn't consider putting anything I like inside a low cost single axle lightweight.
in the case of a blow out, panic stop, slippy road etc. trailers like that quickly become a dynamic force
I travel for a living and have seen almost as many trailers at the roadside as deer

I've been shopping these guys:
http://www.cowboycustomtrailers.com/stock.htm
They have a 5x8 v-nose that looks just fine. I had a single axle boat and bike trailers with no problems providing they are equipped with proper tire wheel size and maintain the bearings. Dual axles trailers are a PIA to move. The clam shell trails you linked are crazy expensive. I had a Classic which I paid $2200 new, used it for 6 yrs, should have kept it. They are out of business. Good luck.

I have a toy Carrier I bought used...
But that won't help you much...
If you do buy a Toy Carrier consider reinforcing / upgrading the ramp.
Mine bent like banana at Sturgis. I am going to have a piece of 1" angle welded to the bottom like a keel.
Other than that the trailer performed flawlessly. 2500 miles at 70 mph behind a Pontiac G8!
