Default GPS Mount for Road King Classis

I would like to add a GPS to my RKC, but I haven't been able to find a mount that has a clean and simple look. I really don't want cables running up and down my handlebars. I would like to place the mount and GPS over the cover where the handle bar bolts down. Or, just to the side of the cover and the swivel it over the center.

Any suggestions or pics would be greatly appreciated!

Here is my Garmin Streetpilot in a RAM mount. I ran the wires from the battery box up under the dash and out by the speedo

It's hard to see in this picture but its a ball mount from Ram Mount that is held down by the mirror, when you take off the GPS only the ball is left.

I highly recommend The Mount Guys. They have RAM and all kinds of mounts, very reasonable, and quick shipping. I've bought several from them, for my ride and my truck.

I use a standard lighter type power from my saddlebag and snake it up to GPS allows me to remove it easily, thats the easy part; I installed a Powerlet power point in my saddlebag.

I still have the original power connector that has the speaker on it. I wired a female cigarette lighter plug off the battery and ran the wire right up the dash. I had to pull the tank during a under tank lighting install. (not for the lights but to remove deer guts off the rocker boxes from a crash earlier in the year). While the tank was off I re-ran the wire into the factory bundle and just zip tied it to the bundle. I suspect that if you use a newer GPS the doesn't have the speaker integrated into the power cable, you can run it right to the nacelle.
