I had that issue. I got new bushings and all is well now.

Also consider a one piece top clamp something like this http://www.jpcycles.com/product/5000380 they are much better than the stock two piece.

I really appreciate all the replies. I think it's something HD should address since it appears to be so common.

Yep, same thing on my Roadie, have gotten used to it as it is not major but it does kind of **** ya off alittle, it was like that with the stock bars and when I put on Heritage bars could not get them to center up perfectly.

Is it possible that because we are riding on the right side of the road, and the roads are crowned that the bike is actually leaning slightly to the left to compensate for the slope of the road surface therefore pushing the bars slightly to the right? I know in my case the bars don't look crooked sitting in the garage they look crooked going down the road. I can take my hands off the bars and the bike goes straight. Like I said, maybe a load of crap, just throwing it out there.

No, I thought of that before, that's not it. I ride out in the middle of nowhere a lot so I use the whole road; it is the same on the left side of the road. It is only the bars that are turned not the forks or wheel, so it only affects the look and feel, not the alignment so it does not affect the tracking.

I haven't try the yank fix suggested by Stiggy, I'll give that a try.

I had the same thing, between yanking on the bars, loosened the fairing and yanked fairing, bar change somehow it's straight. Hated going down the road with the front end tweaked, even had to have my bicycle forks straight as a kid.

Also I put all the heavy stuff in the L. saddle bag to get it to go straight hands off. If the bike won't track straight hands off you are correcting with the bars.
