Default SE Ventilator Performance Air Cleaner

Has anyone tried to retro the SE Ventilator Performance Air Clean kit for an 09 TC onto an 08 bike?

08 touring bikes have the larger throttle body which continued into 09 and up.

the ventilator can leave exposed to the eye the plastic connector and wiring at 8 o'clock on the throttle body.
make sure you are ok with looking at that or plan on buying a cover for it.

the best bang for buck air cleaner is the ness big sucker, which uses the stock football cover

Would you mind measuring the inside diameter of the runner tube on that Ventilator, both ends, and letting me know what it is, greatly appreciated.

not sure what you mean by both ends? but the hole for the throttle is 2 5/16" not sure what you mean by runner tube either, there is no tube on the filter let me know glad to help. are you sure you're thinking of the ventilator and not that se 90 degree filter?

I was thinking of the heavy breather. Just curious what the tube ID was, I'm planning to prototype a new intake system. Sorry, didn't mean to sidetrack the thread.

sorry mike, i'm gonna disagree with you here. i think the fuelmoto stage 1 ac is a better value, and it too can use the stock football cover....
