Default Ultra Glide Exhaust

Does anyone have any suggestions on which exhaust system sounds good on the Ultra Glide ?

sound is subjective, you should go to a bike night or event where there are lots of bikes and see what you like.

Alot better than spending $600 and then thinking "this isn't what i had in mind..."

Everyone will give you an opinion. mkguitar is 100% correct in his statement above. I know I am very happy with my set up I have on my 2011 Ultra but it may not be the sound or tone you are looking for. Listening to exhaust is the key before you make the purchase. The day's of "cheap" slip-ons are gone so one wants to make sure it has the looks and sound you want before making the purchase.

Good luck with your choice, and as always, ride safe...

An option you may want to consider is Rush or Wild Pigs. (basically the same pipes). These have multiple baffle options so the sound is easier and cheaper to change.

Damn you beating me to it. Lol. I agree completely, kinda like handlebars and seats. It all depends on the individual.

I am very happy with Rinehart slip-ons on my 2009. True duals with the same Rineharts sound good, but a lot louder. The sound will not be the same on a bike with catalytic converter. Like previous responses, you need to listen to different combinations, but take into account whether they have true duals, slip-ons, or a cat.

Its funny I see all these "sound" questions for changing out pipes & yes I do get it.... but I wonder if those of us with EFI are really looking more for that old "harley sound" of the carbed motor?

Either way +1 on on a bike night idea, a buddy just dropped some serious $$$ and hates the sound of his set up now.
