Default SE211 cam upgrade for free. Should I?

Long story short...The dealer is going to install new lifters in my 2010 EGC. Upon inspection of the cams, they will be replaced too. Along with cam bearings(upgraded supposedly) oil pump, UP-Graded Lifters,(supposedly) cam support plate, all labor... The dealer does not have the stock cams in stock and has had my bike since the Sunday BEFORE thanksgiving. He (service Manager) said he was very sorry for the length of time, and would kinda sweeten the deal and put some 211's in my bike. (They are in stock) He told me it would add about 5 more horse power, which I really don't care about. From what I have read on here, the 211's are more of a mid range cam. I ride, cruz at 3000 rpms and shift about 4000. Not always, but on the average 4000. Some times more.

My question is, should I go for it? Is that an upgrade really or is it going to cost me in the long run. Oh, I have a SE Air-cleaner, 4" Rineharts already. Dealer download also...All this is under warranty. Costing me nothing...YET..

I was going to do a 103 upgrade on the bike this winter, but not sure now. Any thought welcome.

If you are planning on upgrading to the 103 you were probably going to change cams then anyways. So I would take the 103's, if you don't like them, upgrade to the 103 and put differn't cams in then and sell the 211's

If the dealer installs cams, are they going to include a dyno tune as well? What about a fuel managment system, do you have one yet? (SERT, SEPST, TTS, powercommander)?

Shifting where you shift, I'd say go for it. I like mine.

I haven't any kind of fuel management as of yet. Was also planning on a PCV right after Christmas. I was thinking the 255's myself. I haven't asked about anything different. May go tomorrow and see where they are at on the bike, if anywhere. I kinda thought the lower range for the bagger would be be better for me as I ride 2 up 95% of the time. I'm not small, the bike is heavy and the wifey on the back with baggage kinda puts a strain on the bike in the lower rpm's. No dyno mentioned. Probable gonna have to get the PVC sooner than later I guess.

if you cruise at 3000 and usually shift at 4000 I would ask for 255's. If you push further frequently the 254e's are the go.
