I have the 255 cams with the 103 upgrade and lost some MPG.
I only get about 50MPG now use to be around 54-55 mpg. Speed around
70-75 most of the time.

Zach, Yes, that was the first question I asked when I saw the guts on the cam side out and the shaft right there. Marty (service Mgr.) said yes, it was well within tolerance. Once again, I have to take his word for it. HE knows, I'll bring it back AGAIN, so I am confident it's going to be right. Hopefully, this is the problems he fixed that made me bring it in, in the first place. Either way, the cams and tappets were defective and got fixed.

Picked the bike up today. It has a little different sound with the 211 cams. Seems to have a little more rumble coming from the Rineharts while idling. It was raining slightly and a bit brisk out tonight, so I didn't get to really take it for a good test ride. I did jump on the freeway for a few exits tho. I didn't notice any less power in the lower rpm's as some people have experienced and expressed their thoughts. When I was at the 3000 rpm range and above (where I ride alot of the time) it had a little more kick than the stock cams. It went from 65 to 85 fairly quickly! Like I said, it was raining slightly and the south bound traffic this time of year on I-75 south is heavy. So I really can't give a good opinion on the 211's as of yet. But from what I experienced tonight my thoughts are positive. PCV coming after Christmas. (and when the wife ain't looken) So that will help things too...

Thank you all for your thoughts and suggestions. I am sure I will be happy I took the free upgrade. OH! I was also riding empty. Bags, tour pack and no wife. I might change my mind on the 211's when all is loaded.

I had a chance to give the 211's a pretty good test yesterday. Alot of twisty's and upper rpm runs. I do think I will like them ok. They were kinda fun from 3000 rpms and up. I didn't go much further in the rpm range past 5000 though. I want to give the cams and new lifters alittle time to kind of break in. But over all from yesterdays little 150 mile ride, I enjoyed them. So I think I made a good decision to have them put in, and the free labor was a plus too.

Glad to hear your enjoying your 211's. I always worry when I tell people that I love my 211's they might not ride as agressive as I do. Once you get your PC/V installed and get it tuned, you really should be grinning from ear to ear.
