Got the same system on mine. Slam it for profiling around town and raise it back up for serious riding, all for under $200.

Those of you who have used automotive air shocks; are they a direct bolt on and what is the ride quality like?

Monroe MA785. They are replacements for early 80s corvettes. They come white or black. They actually collapse 5 3/8in. Ridin slammed is do-able if the road is smooth.

Better than stock! Love being able to adjust to whatever the road condition dictates. And there is the cool factor!
My wife had rather ride the 05 with air than the 06 ultra with HD stockers.
They arent direct bolt on. The bottom eye has an elongated sleeve the bolt goes through........Easy fix, just cut it off. The top eye is 1/32 too small. I had mine drilled out by my local machine shop.

Gotcha, you look under your arms for the mirrors, right?

The bike looks much better when viewed from a lower angle to distinguish the shark nose from the front fender.

Mine has HD Profile lowers in the back. No issues with ride, retained air suspension and I can easily do the turns/lean required to teach the MSF courses.

Still rides smooth and handles great.
Not on these roads, especially 2-up.

02 Rk. Lowered rear 1". Of course that changed the front caster. Took a little to get used to it but I like it.
