I have a Vintage Solo (no backrest) and freakin love it.

Ridden 600 miles in a day and no problems at all with mah butt.

 

I have a Wide tour 2 up on my bike for about 65000 miles now and it does good...i just bought a Sundowner and will try it this weekend if i get it in time....I have done many 500-700 mile days on the Mustang with a backrest...Works good...If i like the Sundowner i will sell my Mustang...Time for a change or a try anyway...He should like the Mustang...

 

I've had both the Mustang Wide Touring & Harley Hammock Touring seat, and my bottom liked the Harley Hammock much better.

 

Thanks guys I ordered him the wide vintage solo seat with a removable backrest and the wide vintage backseat. Pricey package but he is worth it. Plus more comfortable he is on the rk the more I get to ride with him. I don't mind riding alone but likely ore when we ride together.
I love the look of the stock seat set up on my deluxe ( you have to loose the grab bar and the luggae rack for most upgraded seats) but I know I am going to be jealous of the comfort he will have. I may need to send it off to mean cycle some time soon.
