Anybody else riding in sub 40 degree weather
I don't if its just me but I love riding my bike. This morning I was determined to ride to work. While in the garage, I put on my leather overpants, sweater and my heavy leather jacket, threw on the heated gloves and wrapped up my neck and hit the road. I had a blast on my 23 mile trip to work. When i got to work my co-workers looked at me strange as hell. I didn't realize how cold it was outside until about lunch when one of the guys saw me and told me how crazy I was since it was 27degrees at his house when he left. At that point I instantly felt cold. I went back out to the bike because I forgot my cell phone and found frost on the seat. I must have definitely been in the moment when I left the house because i didn't feel any of it. Just grabbed a fist full of haul *** and hit the road.

I guess if your in WI and you decide to buy a bike, you have to be prepared to ride it as well. We have mild winters but i decided not to let it turn me into a ***** and complain about the heat and the cold. There are some that if they could get out there and ride they would. And Im complaining about a little cold.

I'm in GA, originally from Ohio so I know cold, and have rode when it's in the 30s, no heated gear. 40 seems to be the magic number of above is pretty cold to below is freakin' cold!
EDIT: And it's never been too hot for me to ride.

And you cant say they did it to save money because any of us could have bought a used civic for cheaper than we paid for our bikes.
