Still trying to pick the right slip-on for my Electra. I have used SE slip-ons and Pythons in the past...the Pythons are louder than I really want. I was looking at Rineharts, V&H Ovals, etc. Could I get some recommendations for good performance, decent price, and not too much noise ?
BTW...another member here mentioned RUSH....I've checked out their website and wouldn't rule them out but I have yet to find a pair I could actually hear in person. Thanks.

You don't say if your bike is an 07 or not but if it is.
All dealers in the U.S. have Harley's Elbow Grease program
going on right now till the end of Jan. 07
I got SE Touring muffers put on mine their the slash down
mufflers. They sound great and are legal in all states which
could be important real soon when the Feds & States start
enforcing the noise laws because of all the smart azz's with
straight pipes!
They retail for $369.95 plus you pay install or do it yourself.
I got them for $269.00 and Harley payed for the install.
The Elbow Grease program is on most all parts and accessories
for all 07 Harleys are on this program till the end of Jan. 07 the
prices are cut big time and Harley pays the install for you.
Check it out if your bike is an 07!

I have the V&H ovals , not too loud for my taste...I just switched to hookers tuned flow at 1000 miles, I can offer them to you if you want them (before I ebay it) and I'll even throw in the "fuelpak"(touring models only) that i bought brand new a few months ago. Let me know...John

RE: Pipes...not too loud !
I bought Rush for my new SG mostly because of Fuel Moto's recommendation, and that they have replaceable baffles from 1.5 to 2.75". I bought the 1.75" to keep noise low enough to hear the radio, and they are great. Nice rumble and throaty enough when throttle is applied, but not intrusive at cruise. Perfect for my taste. I would've tried the 1.5", but they are new and Fuel Moto didn't have them.
